Biography
I graduated from Woodbury High School in 1985 and returned in 1993 to raise my family. I've seen Woodbury grow from a drive-through city to a destination hot spot for people all over the metro area and Western Wisconsin.
Greg and I have been married for 23 years. When our family started to grow, we made the decision that I would put my career as a court reporter on hold and stay home with the kids. Twenty-three years and five kids later, I am an active volunteer in our community and a homeschooling mom. As most parents discover, volunteering becomes an integral part of parenthood. Over the years, I have had the privilege of serving Woodbury in numerous roles including:
-
Woodbury Hockey Board Squirt Director and Bantam/16U Director
-
WAA baseball and soccer coach
-
Lion's garage Sale Directory sales coordinator
-
National Archery in the Schools (NASP) coach
-
An active volunteer with my church.
As a member of council, I would:
-
Be an advocate FOR the people
-
Use common sense solutions for our growing city
-
Remain fiscally responsible, spending our tax dollars on the things that matter most to the taxpayers
-
Work for cleaner, safer, more affordable water
-
Remain committed to Integrity, Transparency and Accountability within our local government.
